We are a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) mission organization dedicated to supporting young people in their Christian journey through missions and discipleship work. We are committed to participating in the fulfillment of Christ's Last Command--the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
Our Mission is to:
  • Unite Filipino-American communities in advancing Christ's mission, empowering young generations through faith-driven initiatives, and fostering a deep connection to their cultural heritage, values, and traditions.

Core Values

Primacy of the Holy Scriptures
We emphasize the Bible as the ultimate authority in faith and practice. It serves as a foundation for understanding God's will, offering wisdom, guidance, and truth for believers.
Christ-centered life and mission
Living a Christ-centered life means making Jesus the focal point of all decisions, actions, and values. It involves aligning one's mission with His teachings, spreading His love, and fulfilling the Great Commission.
Truth and compassion
These values highlight the importance of honesty and empathy. Truth fosters trust and integrity, while compassion reflects Christ's love and care for others, encouraging believers to serve and uplift those in need.
Prayer-filled and Spirit-filled life
A life enriched by prayer and the Holy Spirit is one of deep connection with God. Prayer nurtures faith and provides strength, while being Spirit-filled empowers believers to live according to God's purpose.
Servanthood, humility, and integrity
These virtues embody the character of Christ. Servanthood calls for selfless service to others, humility reminds us to remain grounded, and integrity ensures that our actions align with our values.

Supporting Our Community

Our Strategy

1. Invest in young generation
FAMI is heavily investing in the younger generation, helping them become faithful disciples of Christ and participate in mission work in Asia and other countries, especially in the Philippines.
2. Connect internationally
FAMI plays a bridge role, advocate for, and support in establishing a strong connection between a Fil-Am community and its home country for spiritual, cultural (history, values, traditions), and emotional reasons or connections.
3. Provide assistance
FAMI provides resources and monetary support to advance the mission of Christ locally and abroad, especially for church planting work.
4. Provide services
FAMI provides services (pastoral support, consultation) for a small group of Fil-Am communities seeking to establish their own organization, fellowship, or church
5. Establish a Community Center
FAMI pursues a long-range vision of establishing a Fil-Am Community Center that will cater to every need, especially those of the younger generation and older adults.

Workplace Giving

If your employer uses Benevity, you can support us through your workplace giving program. Search for ‘Fil-Am Mission International’ in Benevity.
We/FAMi aims to be a blessing and partner with churches, especially those that do not have Fil-Am ministry or are interested in FAMi's ministry and mission opportunities for Fil-Ams. This is to avoid competing activities with churches' ministries and activities. FAMi will also hold services on different days or times, like once or twice a month, and during special occasions for those who do not have a church to go to. We will occasionally send you updates on our work and campaigns. We will not share your details.
